Summary

Our client, a leading firearm holster manufacturer, is looking to add a Head of Growth to their rapidly expanding team. Your primary goal will be to help drive profitable revenue growth across paid and performance channels. They are a scrappy eCommerce brand that absolutely loves and enjoys scaling. Though this is a performance marketing role, they operate extremely closely as a team. You’ll have exposure to all parts of the business, and will be given the freedom and trust to own and scale various parts of their marketing strategy.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead both acquisition and retention strategies to drive fast, sustainable growth.
  • Own social and marketing initiatives and budgets from ideation to execution and sharing results including analytics with the team.
  • Develop new strategies for growth and create plans to test these new strategies.
  • Ideate, create, and optimize strategies/campaigns with consistent A/B testing.
  • Develop and continue refining the Martech stack.
  • Operate as a strong project manager and collaborate with agencies/freelancers.
  • Proactively read articles/books, listen to podcasts, and research new strategies. You’ll be responsible for staying on top of the latest strategies, technologies, and trends!
  • Work directly with and report to the CEO + CMO.
  • Recruit and develop a world-class team.
  • Be a team leader and manage all the necessary team members + multiple outside partners/vendors.
  • Develop and execute DTC strategy to meet aggressive revenue growth targets.
  • Coordinate with various teams to execute marketing campaigns, promotional calendars, and new product launches in the DTC channel.
  • Build the experimentation and A/B testing road map to improve user experience and reduce leaks within our conversion funnel.
  • Develop new site features informed by behavioral analytics and competitive benchmarking.
  • Drive retention and grow LTV.
  • Report on overall performance, KPIs, and ongoing projects to key stakeholders and management team.

 

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years developing digital marketing, social, and SEO strategy for DTC eCommerce brands with a proven ability of growing business - must be able to share examples and speak to metrics
  • Strong leadership and project management skills in managing processes and people cross-functionally with internal teams and third-party vendors. Proven ability to successfully manage internal and external partner relationships.
  • Action-oriented with strong follow-through and prioritization skills to manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously in line with business objectives and within time constraints.
  • Must have the ability to work with a rapidly growing business and thrive in a high paced and entrepreneurial environment, able to thrive in a constantly changing environment.
  • Experience with analytics and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics and other web analytic tools, is required.
  • Ability to both drive strategy as well as dive into the details to execute. Ability to roll up your sleeves and get tactical. No task is too small or too large.
  • Extensive experience driving growth utilizing a data-driven approach.
  • Results-oriented and data-driven mindset with a highly analytical view of A/B testing, optimizing customer acquisition costs, and analyzing campaign performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong desire to explore new marketing channels; a curious “student of marketing”. You are inherently a curious person that loves to ideate, test, learn, and repeat. You love the process itself just as much as the end result.
  • Experience with Shopify + other top marketing/analytics platforms.
  • Experience building revenue and spend forecast from the ground up.
