We're looking for an energetic Sales Coordinator to partner with our Sales Team leadership as we build out and execute our retail roadmap. We are open to remote candidates with a preference for those able to join locally us at our NYC HQ.

As our Sales Coordinator, you will:

  • Live and breath Sales Systems Management, ensuring we are buttoned up across first and third party systems by:
    • Managing new item set up in UNFI, KeHE and other distributors
    • Managing Magic Spoon data in third-party systems (IX-One, Syndigo/Gladsons, Nielsen Brand Bank, IRI, SPINS)
    • Working with internal partners to gather required information and meet setup deadlines
  • Help define and streamline our planning processes though:
    • Creating and maintaining SOP documentation on key processes, especially in cross functional (i.e. Sales & Operations) workflows
    • Creating and maintaining complete records of sales documentation
  • Provide administrative support to sales team leadership by:
    • Managing retailer and broker sample orders
    • Supporting the sales team in managing communications with brokers, third party merchandisers, and marketing partners
    • Triage the general sales inbox

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in wholesale account coordination, ideally in the Food and Beverage space
  • Familiarity with item setup across distributors such as UNFI or KeHE or major grocery/retail chains and retail data providers such as the ones listed above
  • A highly organized and detail oriented doer with an exceptional ability to prioritize, multitask, work autonomously, and communicate proactively
  • Scrappiness, "no task too small" attitude with a bias towards action, an aptitude for picking up new skills quickly, and an eagerness to manage up and keeping our sales team on task
  • If remote, ability and eagerness to join us at our NYC HQ roughly 1-2 times per quarter or as otherwise appropriate
