What You’ll Do:

The Offline Growth Marketing Manager will fuel Calm’s growth engine and help solve the mental health crisis by scaling new and existing Offline channels. You are a self-driven generalist with a strong track record of managing external media buying agencies and partners to drive growth for a DTC business. You will tightly manage performance across TV and streaming video and audio channels while partnering with internal creative and data teams to consistently evolve and improve Calm’s growth strategy.

  • Own Calm’s growth strategy across Broadcast TV, OTT, Podcast, Radio and any new offline channels.
  • Manage offline channels to CPA targets through media planning, creative, targeting, and other optimizations.
  • Partner with Data Science and Marketing Operations to establish and/or improve measurement and reporting across Calm’s offline portfolio.
  • Partner with Marketing Strategy & Ops to adjust strategies inline with User Acquisition team goals.
  • Lead partnerships with Calm’s offline media agencies and partners and contribute to their product roadmaps.
  • Optimize and report on creative performance, communicating results and areas of opportunity to the creative and wider teams. Contribute to the iteration, production and strategy of growth creative aimed at lowering the CAC of new customers.
  • Drive strategy and execution of seasonal brand campaigns in partnership with the Brand Marketing team.
  • Lead strategies in partnership with Product & Engineering to improve the user journey and increase subscription conversions from Podcast/Radio and other offline campaigns.

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years experience in DTC growth marketing
  • 2-3+ years of offline marketing experience (Broadcast TV, Streaming, Podcast)
  • Highly curious, with strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
  • Experience onboarding and managing media agencies, partners and contractors
  • Experience working with Creative, Legal, Data, Engineering, and Product teams
  • Ability to build partnerships and work effectively with partner teams
  • Creative problem solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Expertise in offline attribution models and how they interact with/impact other digital channels
  • Ability to make calm, data driven decisions under pressure
  • Desire to be hands on
  • Experience using Tableau and/or other data tools
  • Autonomous and self-driven, high energy. You are driven by calm’s mission of solving the mental health crisis.
