Reporting to the Vice President Marketing, the Marketing Director will play a critical role in driving the success of our customer acquisition and retention efforts to support our nationwide expansion.
Responsibilities
- Support plan to acquire and retain new customers through the execution of local marketing activities including direct, social, digital, mobile, event and partnership marketing.
- Manage website and implement SEO best practices to optimize organic search, maximize traffic, conversions and CAC.
- Drive ongoing initiatives to foster a community and encourage reviews and referrals.
- Create compelling content that drives consumer engagement across multiple channels.
- Capture daily website analytics, overseeing key performance indicators (e.g. traffic, conversion, CAC, etc.), interpreting data into trends and strategy, and optimizing budgets; monitor and provide tracking/reports.
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, and audience identification.
- Develop and maintain the master marketing calendar.
- Oversee brand integrity across local marketing channels, ensuring that all Marcom tactics meet brand guidelines.
- Develop some B2B marketing strategies to support field sales and manage other marketing projects including tradeshows/events as needed.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree required.
- 10+ years experience required.
- DTC direct, event and social/digital marketing required.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and email campaign platforms.
- Experience managing agencies and vendors.
- Deep understanding of web-based data and metrics with a track record of distilling actionable insights from data.
- Social media savvy with understanding of online engagement through creative writing.
- Team player who loves to collaborate and can thrive in a fast-moving, start-up environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively to internal/external stakeholders with the ability to influence and gain consensus.
- Willing to travel up to 25%.
