About the job

Billie is looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to lead our performance marketing strategy as we launch into retail, and continue to grow our e-commerce subscription business. In this role, you’ll lead the customer acquisition strategy and execution across our growth marketing channels.

 

Reporting to our Leadership Team, you’ll be responsible for the marketing planning, measurement, & optimization of CAC and ROI as we expand our digital and retail presence.This is a great opportunity for someone who’s creative, data-driven and energized by the goal of growing Billie into a household name.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and manage Billie’s growth and acquisition roadmap across all growth marketing & traditional channels - digital media, affiliate/partnerships, & offline media
  • Own the day-to-day execution, analysis, budgeting and reporting of marketing channels to ensure high ROI
  • Plan multi-million dollar media plans to optimize to e-commerce & retail success metrics and present data-driven short and long term strategies to continuously improve in store retail sales velocities
  • Partner with the data and marketing analytics team to develop best in class methodology for omni-channel marketing measurement and attribution
  • Work with the Growth and Finance Teams to set budgets and measure financial, revenue and brand impact of our growth marketing spend
  • Mentor our internal marketing team and foster relationships with agency/external partners and provide strategic direction based on performance goals
  • Collaborate closely with Creative and Brand teams to brief in awareness-driving and consideration-focused assets to support growth marketing channels
  • Keep a pulse on the evolving marketing space and suggest marketing innovations for online & offline channels
  • Partner with Brand Marketing and Retail Partnership teams to support go-to market planning, execution, and optimization for retail marketing initiatives
  • Serve as the main cross-functional stakeholder for all things dtc & retail marketing, communication priorities, learnings, & opportunities to all departments

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 7+ years of performance marketing experience at a high-growth e-commerce brand,
  • Retail marketing experience is a plus
  • An in-depth experience in managing at least 2 of the following channels: digital media (paid social & display), influencer/affiliate marketing, & offline (TV/OTT, OOH, Radio, Direct Mail, Print, or Podcast/Audio)
  • Proven experience in testing new channels and exploring new strategies and tactics to scale existing channels
  • A highly analytical and data-driven mindset; you can translate data and trends into actionable insights to drive decisions
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data tools such as Google Analytics and Looker
  • A deep familiarity with tracking and measurement solutions; experience working with an MMM or MTA attribution model is a plus
  • A track record of managing cross-functional projects start to finish
  • High attention to detail with effective prioritization and organization skills
  • Experience in building and managing high performing teams - you’re able to understand team needs, can hire and retain top talent
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • A hands-on self-starter who is comfortable with fast turnarounds and tight timelines
  • A proactive and collaborative approach – you love working with people and people love working with you
