About The Role

As a Product Manager aligned with the Post Trading team you will be responsible for partnering with key stakeholders at the Firm, including Trading, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Technology to define and execute the product roadmap for our Brokerage services, with a concentration on Margin and Clearing and Settlement functions. DriveWealth handles millions of orders per day and has developed proprietary trading technology for real time execution of dollar based/ fractional shares. We power traditional retail brokerage as well as embedded finance products, globally, by offering frictionless brokerage as a service products.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for building and writing all business requirements for a robust margin tool across asset classes, with expertise around Equities and Options. Gather technical requirements, create specifications and workflow documents for product and feature release/ deployment.
  • Responsible for capturing, writing, and leading the business requirements and execution of DTC connectivity and third party Brokers for our equities clearing and settlement process.
  • Collaborate with the Front Office, Operations, Technology, and Risk team to ensure all regulatory, street, and house margin capabilities are captured, executed, and delivered as part of our overall Brokerage platform.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to help define and translate business decisions into technology solutions.
  • Help define and prioritize the product roadmap, Conduct sprint-planning and backlog grooming for a backend engineering team responsible for multiple work streams
  • Extrapolate and document complex business logic from software. Break down projects into executable tasks with Engineering leads
  • Manage communication of progress/status to internal and external stakeholders via Agile delivery methods.
  • Develop tools and processes to improve team efficiency and speed
  • Identify and implement ways to improve the systems scalability and functionality.
  • Guide the next phase of development as the application scales to multiple services and teams
  • Partner with key stakeholders - notably, Trading, Operations, CX and Strategy and to support strategic goals and business initiatives
  • Trusted partner and enabler of the technology team. Big picture and ability to answer day-to-day product questions from engineers to guide build and implementation

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years working in product management or software engineering at a software or financial services company
  • Prior experience working with margin calculations and tools for Equities. Listed Derivatives and OTC experience is recommended, but not required.
  • Knowledge of SQL and/or data modeling and analysis tools
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality and tested software on-time and often
  • An open mind, flexibility around testing new approaches and the ability to harness failures and turn them into wins.
  • Strong interest and passion for financial technology
  • Experience in agile delivery methodologies (scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Degree in computer science or finance a bonus
