Freck Beauty, a Los Angeles based beauty company, is looking to hire a seasoned Supply Chain & Planning Manager with strong supply chain and planning background in CPG. This position will be remote, however we are interested in candidates who reside in the following areas: Philadelphia, New York City and closely surrounding, New Jersey, Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

This candidate must be highly detail oriented, a self starter without much supervision, and a problem solver with experience in beauty and start ups.

KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Place production orders from components to finished goods, and negotiating lead times
• Manage production schedule for existing and new SKUs, as well as sampling
• Handle bill of materials (BOMs) and transit for components, unit cartons, etc. from vendors to contract manufacturers and finished goods to 3PL
• Oversee vendor management with contract manufacturers
• Oversee regulatory registration consultants
• Manage supply and demand by ensuring all SKU forecasts are added to the demand model, and working closely with operations to ensure inventory stays at optimal levels
• Oversee QC management with contract manufacturers and vendors
• Site visits to contract manufacturers
• Manage and oversee cost of goods for all SKUs
• Work closely with Product Development team to ensure marketing needs are included into production
• Create and execute highly detailed and organized production calendar
• Source, purchasing, and driving execution + receipt of all packaging materials, including mailers, DTC needs, sampling etc.
• Manage and save all production related documents onto internal system (i.e. NCRs, Sample Submission Forms, BOL’s, Registrations etc.)
• Review and submit determinations on approval statuses for bulk formula production of existing SKUs

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE + QUALIFICATIONS

• B.A./B.S. degree in a related field,
• Professional level experience of six or more years and demonstrated ability to perform the described role and responsibilities.
• Proven competency in a team leader role for two or more years, and/or demonstrated leadership of major projects, planning or programs in a team environment
• Experience navigating bill of materials and work orders
• Experience working in a production environment
• Knowledgeable in sustainable packaging a must - beauty company, CPG experience is a must
• Proven success working on cross-functional new product introduction projects, completing cost models, and negotiationsFamiliarity with ERP systems and purchasing/planning function
