Brodo (www.brodo.com) is an NYC-based broth company founded by James Beard Award-winning Chef Marco Canora.

 

We are in search of a part-time (20-25 hrs/wk) Customer Experience Specialist, working remotely. By joining Brodo, you will join a passionate team in an exciting, rapidly growing company with a national profile. This can become a full-time role in the fall.

 

Job Responsibilities:

As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will be tracking all points of customer engagement, addressing customer issues, and streamlining processes. You play a vital role in being an advocate for Brodo’s community, by supporting and engaging with customers.

  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests via email and SMS.
  • Engage and respond on Brodo social media platforms; Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Assist with order replacements, refunds, and subscription management.
  • Analyze and report on recurring issues and customer feedback.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align communications during product launches, etc.

 

Job Qualifications:

The right candidate has a background in digital customer service and strong self-organization skills. They also have a high level of patience and empathy with a wide variety of customers.

Essential

  • Superior written and oral communication.
  • Positive attitude and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management and time management skills
  • 1-2 years providing great service in a customer-facing role
  • Ability to work independently with confidence.
  • Interest in great food and good health
  • Comfortable across most social media platforms

Plus+

  • Interest in developing broader skills in the area of customer experience
  • Knowledge of Excel / Google Sheet, ZenDesk & WordPress
  • Experience in DTC e-commerce

 

Compensation:

$20 - $30 per hour depending on experience
