The Director of Community Development will support the strategic growth and engagement of the Influenster community. This role will report into the Global Head of Community Growth and Engagement, and responsibilities include overseeing multiple teams dedicated to the growth and engagement of the community.

In this role, you will be responsible for setting and meeting growth targets for the community each quarter via paid acquisition and organic growth strategies. Working closely with the Global Head of Community Growth and Engagement, you will oversee our paid marketing budget and will help represent our team on cross-functional marketing initiatives. This includes overseeing an array of strategic initiatives to grow key growth and engagement metrics with our community, including but not limited to, establishing clear community communication strategies, leading programming strategies with our product team, and developing new engagement initiatives such as incentive programs and community events.

This is a collaborative role working closely with the rest of the Community Growth and Engagement team as well as our product, sales, and product marketing teams to ensure we have a robust, diverse community spanning multiple geographies.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Responsible for ensuring we have the right community composition and numbers to support key business and sales goals
  • Oversee our paid marketing efforts across digital platforms, including managing the marketing mix
  • In partnership with our Creative Services team, provide insight into the creative needed for various acquisition campaigns
  • Oversee our organic acquisition strategies across owned channels
  • Partner closely with the Consumer Insights and Selections team to identify community growth targets
  • Facilitate strategic communication initiatives with a cross-functional team for the community
  • Work closely with our product teams to establish clear engagement and programming strategies that successfully drive business objectives
  • Innovate and create a first-class community experience for all Influenster members
  • Lead and manage our growing consumer marketing and engagement teams

Necessary Skill And Experience

  • 7+ years of increasing responsibility in DTC growth or brand marketing
  • Experience managing paid media campaigns across multiple digital channels
  • Experience managing engagement strategies throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Direct management experience
  • Proven track record in successfully growing a product’s user base and using data to drive strategic decisions
  • Dedication to mentoring and coaching talent
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Experience overseeing marketing and engagement strategies for new products preferred
  • Experience with influencer marketing preferred
  • Experience with content development preferred
