About the job

THE COMPANY

Fancy Sprinkles is a DTC and B2B eCommerce business disrupting the edible arts industry with its products, tools, and content for makers, bakers, edible artists, and trend spotters alike. Founded in 2016 by Lisa Stelly Osbourne (Lisa Stelly) with just $2,000 in her pocket and enough fervor and grit to completely revolutionize an outdated industry. As a passionate cake artist and entrepreneur, she was in constant search of decorative and distinctive toppers, but found store-bought selections fell short, yielding disappointing results. Over several months, Lisa turned her relentless quest to source and create the world’s best sprinkles and edible delights into a damn art form! With pop culture and creative intuition as her guide, she sourced distinctive confectionery products, developed custom colors, and combined them into gourmet adornments that had the ability to turn heads, inform trends, and look like a million bucks on anything one could put in their mouth.

Fancy Sprinkles produces luxury confectionery and edible enhancements blended from rare, artisan sprinkles, powders, and melts in custom colors and flavors, delivering an unmatched gourmet aesthetic for every occasion one can celebrate. Simply put, Fancy Sprinkles products belong on top of everything one can dream of making — including baked goods, savory snacks, shakes, and drinks. Products include custom-blended sprinkles, candy melts, sugar shapes, custom molds and tools, edible glitter, sprinkle stickers, and the company’s signature Crunchy Jimmies®, a vibrant and nostalgic powdered sugar-based sprinkle.

Based in Los Angeles, CA, the company employs a highly diversified team, with a growing number of remote teams and talented individuals across the Midwest and on the East Coast.

In 2018, the company received its first institutional funding from Chicago-based investment management firm Sterling Partner’s consumer group ‘87. The capital will support Fancy Sprinkles’ need to hire and expand infrastructure and grow its product pipeline and retail partnerships. Lisa Stelly continues to inspire and lead the company in her role as Chief Creative Officer, focusing on developing new products and categories, and creating content for a wide array of social channels through which the brand connects with an expanding and highly discerning customer base.
