For our Growth Lead, we’re seeking a senior marketing leader with strong DTC, media and advertising experience who can build and execute a best-in-class omni-channel marketing plan as well as design and manage an end-to-end consumer experience (CX) roadmap, ensuring its flawless, on-time, on-budget execution in-market. The Growth Lead will also be responsible for monitoring in-market results, and managing and adjusting a variety of internal and external resources as necessary to ensure results are delivered.

Success is: You helping the company achieve it’s full potential by building a cult following for the Une Femme brand and developing and implementing a full-scale marketing program that delivers Une Femme revenue goals in a concrete, measurable, scalable, sustainable (ROI-positive) way.

Key Skills

  • Brand strategy & planning (voice/look, innovation strategy, 360 activation)
  • Oversight of creative development, managing freelancers and agencies
  • Budget management for omni-channel campaigns (online and in trade)
  • Results Optimization (experiment setup, KPI setting, data monitoring/measurement, data analysis, insights to action planning)
  • Media planning & media budget management - develop, launch & actively manage paid campaigns
  • Leadership of a future fully staffed marketing and creative team
  • 360 campaign management across all channels (organic, earned, paid, retail, experiential)
  • Development of creative/advertising (“big idea” as well as multi-channel execution)
  • Website optimization & management
  • Customer Retention Management (email, newsletters, etc.)
  • Social media/community management
  • Influencer/Affiliate program management
  • Clear Communication & influence skills

The Growth Lead will be responsible for:

  • Delivering profitable, sustainable revenue growth as quickly as possible: This is our collective number one success metric, and we’ll look to you to lead figuring out what works best - and scales! - in acquiring & maximizing the LTV of customers. We’ll also look to you to align planning, budgeting, monitoring, analyzing and optimizing against key performance metrics to ensure revenue goals are delivered in a sustainable way!
  • Building an Une Femme cult following: From the brand voice/look, to creative, to media, community and business strategies, we need your help designing a plan, approach and content that brings our mission to life in a breakthrough way at every brand touchpoint and turns our consumers, as well as agency, retailer, and distribution partners into brand evangelists!
  • Helping us take DTC to the next level: We want to join the ranks of the renegade alcohol brands making huge strides in DTC. And you will become captain of an amazing crew of world-class digital, email and media agencies assembled to catapult us to a new level of effectiveness & impact within the digital realm.
  • Making us into a world-class marketing execution machine: We will look to you to set up the right systems and processes that ensure remarkable, on-time and on-budget execution and activation of our marketing & media plans at every step of the consumer journey and across all channels (online & in-market).
  • Ensuring brand stewardship: Our brand must stay consistent to its core values, look, and feel during a period of explosive growth! To achieve that, we will look to you and the rest of the marketing crew to build, evolve and maintain foundational documents to ensure a cohesive brand look, feel and voice across all channels and consumer/partner touchpoints.
  • Maximizing Value Creation and Delivering with Excellence: A key part of the job is being choiceful in where we put our collective energy & resources. We will look for you to help guide that decision-making as well as coordinate the right internal & external resources to deliver the necessary results.

What it takes to be successful in this role:

  • You need to be T-shaped: We’re seeking someone who is creative and curious by nature and who ideally has broad exposure to companies at different life stages as well as all spokes of the marketing wheel (paid & earned media, advertising/creative, trade/shopper marketing, pricing, innovation, digital & brand strategy) so that they:
  • Excel at figuring out where time is best spent
  • Are a knowledgeable and inspiring partner to work with
  • Can plan & execute a 360 marketing plan with excellence
  • Have the critical thinking skills and strategic firepower to transform data and observations into insights and action plans that will help achieve our dream.
  • You need to be a dreamer and a doer: From Day 1, the runway for growing your impact and leadership should be nearly endless, but we want to be transparent. For the moment we need someone as excited to roll up their sleeves and work alongside others to get the work done as build the vision and set the strategy.
  • You need to be able to help us get further faster: We need you to both know what works as well as how to avoid the landmines and pitfalls of the marketing/media/advertising/digital world and alcohol industry. Having strong experience in CPG, in DTC + brick and mortar routes to market, and in the alcohol industry (or at least some regulated and/or 3-tier industry), isn’t mandatory, but it will certainly help!
  • You need an agile mindset: We need someone who is observant and strategic enough to identify and embrace the opportune moments where untapped potential can be unlocked by evolving what we’re doing and/or how we’re doing it.
  • People should want to have a drink with you (even if it’s non-alcoholic!): We want everyone who is a part of our journey to enjoy the ride. So to be successful in this role - and at Une Femme at large - you have to be able to get A++ performance out of yourself and others while still having a good time and lifting others up.
