About the role

Foria is looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to join our team. You will play the leading role in shaping and implementing our paid media strategy and performance marketing tactics to drive new customer acquisition while obsessing over metrics and delivering measurable results. You will create a set of successful channel strategies, execute a set of well-structured tests, roll out evergreen and seasonal campaigns, optimize performance against a clear set of performance goals. You should have hands-on experience developing, planning, launching and analyzing customer acquisition programs to drive sustainable and efficient CAC at scale. To be successful in this role, you will be able to both see the big picture and execute rapidly.

 

This role is ideally based in LA and will report to the Chief Growth Officer.

 

Primarily responsibilities:

  • Lead Foria’s customer acquisition strategy, manage performance marketing across all paid media channels in order to hit monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Build and execute a data-driven roadmap to scale and optimize the media mix through iterative testing across all acquisition touchpoints
  • Report on and analyze campaign performance to drive continuous improvement
  • Scale existing channels and identify development of new opportunities for growth
  • Partner with creative and brand marketing team members to develop strong messaging and storytelling for direct response ads; Provide a constant feedback loop on creative performance to inform new ideas to iterate and text messaging
  • Serve as a senior Growth partner, collaborating with team members across Product, Creative, Finance, Brand Marketing, etc.
  • Manage budgeting process, including forecasting, ROI assessments, and finding paths to increased profitability
  • Actively strategize, investigate and execute hypotheses in each channel to optimize performance including audiences, creative and landing pages
  • Develop methodology for measurement and attribution, identify opportunities for optimizing LTV/CAC, and implement testing ideas to continuously enhance performance
  • Optimize our processes, playbooks, and workflows
  • Research competition, investigate benchmarks and provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Lead and build our Paid Media Team through hiring, coaching, and development to maximize portfolio company growth.

 

What you bring to Foria:

  • 8+ years of experience managing and overseeing all online and offline acquisition channels with high-growth DTC companies
  • 5+ years of experience building, coaching, and developing high-performing Paid Media teams. Experience resourcing a team across a breadth of digital channels and have first-hand experience cracking and scaling new acquisition channels yourself.
  • A highly analytical and data-driven mindset; you have strong knowledge of data tools and are able to leverage data and research to drive decisions
  • Strong project management skills; you are able to translate data and trends into actionable insights and work with cross-functional teams to execute against them
  • A leader who can ensure everyone is marching towards the same goal
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A natural collaborator who is customer-obsessed
  • Entrepreneurial in spirit (experience in start-up environments preferred)
