About The Position

iRestore is seeking a passionate Director of Supply Chain, exceptionally organized and data-driven to grow our direct-to-consumer eCommerce brand through streamlining the supply chain, implementing an ERP system, and bridging the gap between customer service and fulfillment. We are at an inflection point in our growth curve and on this journey to becoming a major global beauty brand – hitting the $100M mark over the next 3 years.

You’ll play an integral role in building, reshaping, and mentoring iRestore’s operations team. You’ll be responsible for strategizing, planning, and implementing key operations systems and projects that align with the company’s growth trajectory.

 

Reports to SVP of Operations

 

What you’ll do:

• Own our logistics, fulfillment, and inventory management as we grow the business and expand our product line
• Oversee logistics vendors, and reseller relationships, ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliveries
• Develops effective relationships with Freight Forwarders to secure the most cost-effective ocean and ground transportation rates and ensures execution of all required business outcomes
• Negotiate supplier costs and carrier contracts to ensure the best possible rates
• Improve and automate shipping claims, returns, and related processes
• Manage inventory forecasting, taking into consideration lead times
• Establish a strategy for optimizing transportation efficiency, costs, and service
• Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
• Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase the efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
• Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes.
• Assesses the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; makes recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials.
• Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies.
• Oversee warehouse operations and work closely with warehouse logistics to create efficiencies.

 

The ideal candidate has:

• 4+ years in an operational role and inventory management experience in the supply chain, logistics, distribution, and warehousing
• Experience in eCommerce DTC operations, including platforms like Shopify and Amazon Seller Central (extensive Amazon experience a huge plus)
• Experience with working with retailers, resellers, distributors domestically and internationally
• Experience working with a global network of 3PLs and transportation providers
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive business decisions
• Excellent project management, communication and organizational skills
• Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to build a team
• An intense curiosity that keeps you up at night solving problems
